The Internet has afforded us a dozen of things, a few among which are shopping online, buying and selling products in online auctions, and establishing our own small business online. In just a few clicks of the mouse, buyers and sellers can meet with one another virtually and conduct various business transactions.

In these processes of product trading, one famous mode is dropshipping wholesale.  Through dropshipping wholesale products online, manufacturers, dealers, and retailers are benefitted in terms of gaining profit, marketing products, and expanding product offerings.

Dropshipping wholesale online is offered by dealers to prospective retailers and end-customers who want to buy in bulk. In this method, retailers and customers order the products to dealers, and then dealers order the said products to suppliers and manufacturers.

The dealers are basically involved in marketing the products, reaching out to potential customers, and asking for payment. The delivery, inventory, and shipping however are done by the manufacturers and suppliers themselves. Dealers therefore play as middle men in the whole business transaction.

In this way, manufacturers are benefited in as much as their products have immediate takers; dealers can widen their product offerings without having to spend too much on stocking, shipping, doing inventories; retailers and end-customers get very cheap wholesale prices since dealers won’t charge many extra fees.

Having said these, it is important therefore that the price charging of manufacturers, dealers, and retailers is fair and reasonable, since overpricing will defeat the systematic and organized profit-gaining advantages being posed by the process of dropshipping wholesale.

One of the most popular ways of buying and selling products that emerged from the advancement of the Internet is to dropship wholesale and/or retail. In drop shipping, wholesalers and retailers can increase their product line and at the same time decrease their inventory.

To dropship wholesale, dealers market the products to be sold wholesale, ask payment from the customers, and then ask the manufacturers to “drop ship” the wholesale products to the customers. By doing this, dealers don’t have to expend to much on stocking products in their warehouses, not mentioning that their product offerings are expanded without the entailing capital.

In wholesale drop shipping, dealers put certain charges on top of the original wholesale prices in order to gain profit. Dealers’ drop ship charges, of course, are much lesser than those of retailers, since buying in bulk generally presupposes cheaper prices. Through this process, dealers also don’t have to face much hassle on inventories since the shipping happens between the end-customers and the main manufacturers. Dealers, therefore, have to focus more on marketing the products and finding prospective customers than delivering the products themselves.

To dropship wholesale is very profitable if its dealers know how to play their cards very well. They must closely guard the wholesale and retail prices of the products in order to ensure that their customers really will save a lot on buying from them. If customers see that the wholesale drop ship prices have not much difference with products being sold in retail, then they won’t bother engaging in a business contract with those dealers.
